Stylus is on hiatus. The band members are all persuing other musical projects at the moment. You can find them all; Dempsey, The Gaze, The Jamie Gray Band and 29 Blackbirds in Stylus's top friends on their myspace page.

This Friday's show at Rising Sun on K'rd is going to be the last Stylus gig for a while. The band is taking a break to work on new songs for a 3rd album. So don't miss this gig because it could be the last chance you get to see Stylus live for a very long time!

The video for our new single 'Home' is finished and its by far the best video we've ever made. Check it out on our Audio & Video page. It looks a lot better on TV so give Juice TV, C4 or Alt TV a call and ask them to play it.

Stylus is playing with King Kapisi, Hangman and Easy this Saturday at the Kings Arms, come check it out, its going to be an exciting show.

This week we'll be in Hamilton at Diggers Back Bar on Friday and The Masonic Tavern in Devonport on Sat.

Also the Tauranga gig at the Colosseum has moved back a day to Friday 3 August and we've got our friends Second Theory on the bill now so its going to be a great gig. The new line up is Stylus, Second Theory, Sinfura and Enercia.

Before the tour starts we've got a gig coming up on June 15 at Kings Arms with These Four Walls and Midnight Youth. It promises to be a big night so come check it out.

Its been a while since we played a show so we thought we'd try something a bit different. We've booked a gig at Babalus in whangaparoa. We've never played there before but from what I hear it goes off! So if you live in the area or feel like a nice drive out of the city come check it out. We've got some surprises for you too! New songs and perhaps some new people on stage..... we'll fill you in closer to the time.

Thanks to everyone who called or emailed The Rock, it worked! The Rock have added 'Home' to their night time playlist, keep calling them and lets see if we can get them to play it in the day time. All NZ radio stations have the song now so call your favourite station and hassle them to play it. Good work yall!

The next Stylus single is 'Home'. We have filmed a video which is in post-production at the moment and should be out in a couple of months. In the mean time The Rock have started playing it in there Kiwi Music Show so you should listen out for it and give them a call to tell them its your favourite song in the world ever!!

Happy New Year Everyone! Stylus has some big plans for this year. Starting with a few more gigs around Auckland and then a bit of world travel later in the year. Of course we'll keep you posted on here or our myspace page, and if you sign up to the mailing list you'll always be in the loop.

We've got a big show planned for Thursday 18th Jan at Hysteria. Its the night before Big Day Out so there will be heaps of people in town, if you know anyone coming up from out of town make sure you let them know about the gig. Rival State, TomorrowComesInSilence and Naquadah are playing too so it'll be fun night.

The touring is over for the year but we still have a few shows coming up. We are playing an all ages and R18 Xmas Party at the Transmission room on 23rd December with the Rabble and Quarter 2.

The new Stylus Video is on TV now! Juice TV have been playing it heaps but feel free to call, text, email or just generally hassle C4 and other music TV stations to play it more often! The video has just been added to our video section if you haven't seen it yet.

This Sat we are playing an all ages show at the New Lynn Community Centre, Its a big linup so come check it out! Here's the details:

Come and be in the new Stylus video this Saturday.
We need you to come and be in a crowd of vampires. The video shoot is this Saturday at 7pm at the old Southdown Freezing Works, 140 Hugo Johnston Drive, Penrose. (Map Below)
Bring two changes of clothes if possible:

1. Vampire

2. Your normal clothes but in Black and White only.

That means if you normally dress like a punk come in your black and white punk clothes or if you normally dress like a homie come in your black and white homie gears. We want all styles of people so whatever you're into, you are welcome!

So get some friends together and come out for the free party! Its going to be alot of fun hopefully see you there.

The tour is kicking off with a special Auckland show at Hysteria, K'Rd on Saturday 8th July. Its a huge line up for the first show, we've got 5 Star Fallout, Second Theory, Remote and Mystery Liquid joining us, and Dave from Stylus is going to be DJing after the show till early morning. Its only 10 bucks and the first 50 people through the door get a free beer!! Starts at 9pm so come early to get ya free beer.
